The Oxytetracycline ELISA Test Kit provides a competitive enzyme immunoassay for the quantitative analysis of Oxytetracycline in honey, milk, meat, fish, shrimp, and feed.

This method utilizes a competitive colorimetric ELISA assay. The target drug is coated in the plate wells. During analysis, samples are added along with primary antibody specific for oxytetracycline. If the target is present, it competes for antibody binding, preventing antibody attachment to the coated drug. A secondary antibody tagged with peroxidase enzyme targets the primary antibody complexed to the plate wells. The resulting color intensity after substrate addition has an inverse relationship with target concentration in the sample.

The Oxytetracycline ELISA Test Kit provides capacity for 96 determinations or testing of 42 samples in duplicate. Return unused microwells to the foil bag and reseal with provided desiccant. Store at 2-8°C. Shelf life is 12 months when properly stored.
